Pulitzer’s In The Mail of the Day: When news broke last week that Conan O’Brien — who was returning to NYC for the first time since the infamous falling out with NBC — would personally preside over the first same-sex marriage ever performed on late-night television, news stations across the country worked tirelessly to come up with an original take on the story they could proudly call their own — then scrapped that and used the exact same script everyone else was using.
